shame on me

i went to a recruitment fair at tidworth army camp today. worth the visit. only bad bit of the day was arriving at the camp i had my car searched. that would have been fine had they not wanted to check under the bonnet of my car. my car that I've had for 2 months and never looked under the bonnet. and the lever is not in the normal place. oh no, that would be too easy. Ford prefer to make it much more fun than that and hide it under the badge on the bonnet. So after a very embarassing pause where the girl with a gun stood patiently by, I tried to surruptitiously read the owners manual and found the answer. oh the shame....
